ITSA brings together governments and solution providers to ensure better understanding of the benefits of tax stamp, authentication and traceability solutions for protecting regulated products and revenues against non-compliance and illicit trade, and to improve the way these solutions are developed and used.
We advocate for ‘phygital’ approaches that combine physical authentication features with digital identification and traceability, and that support independent, government-controlled oversight. Our approaches are aligned with international frameworks, in particular ISO 22382 for the content, security, issuance and examination of tax stamps.
